OtterBox Brings Palm Pre Users the Tandem Series Case!
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2010 is starting off pretty sweet! OtterBox got the ball rolling by introducing their new series of cases for Palm Pre users. If you remember we first got wind of this new series about a month ago, and now its finally time! OtterBox has proudly introduced the Tandem Series for the Palm Pre. The new Tandem series is a form fitted case designed to protect and slide with the Pre’s unique egg like design. The Tandem Series for the Pre is expected to launch soon. Engineered with the same attention to detail and consideration for protection as other OtterBox lines, the Tandem Series enhances your smartphone experience with flagship protection for the Palm® Pre™.

Made to safeguard against unexpected bump and shock, the Tandem Series provides two custom fit polycarbonate shells with overmolding and an adhesive screen to shield against scratches.*
“Overmolding is an injection molding process that combines two materials into one interconnected component,” Richardson said. “The Tandem Series is created by molding polycarbonate and silicone together.”
So how does the Tandem Series work?
- The first shell attaches to the front of the smartphone and the second shell attaches to the back.
- Silicone around the outside edges of the case offers protection against bumps and the polycarbonate shells offer stability to withstand light impact.
- Once the case is assembled, it allows for complete functionality, even when sliding the display screen up and down.
The volume keys and power button are covered by a thin silicone layer to offer extra protection and the USB/charge port, earpiece, home button, microphone, display screen, speaker, camera, flash and other features are openly accessible. Included is a microfiber cleaning cloth and an installation card. The Tandem Series offers complete protection for any technology enthusiast.
