Tvit Mobile TV Receiver for BlackBerry Coming Soon!
Ronen just posted up something that’s pretty neat, it’s called Tivit, and it’s a mobile TV receiver for BlackBerry smartphones. This would allow you to watch live TV directly from your BlackBerry, and will run for up to 3 hours. Similar technology is on nearly ever mobile phone in Japan and Korea, and now it looks like North America might get a similar solution. Currently if you’re looking to stream TV to your BlackBerry you need Slingbox, however that uses a lot of data and/or Wi-Fi. The Tivit is set to be available this Spring, however pricing is still unknown.
