Apple announces Bumper Cases for iPhone 4

Apple Bumper Cases for iPhone 4

Here’s something that wasn’t quite expected during today’s iPhone 4 announcement. Apple has announced the “Bumper Cases” for the iPhone 4. These cases are a protective cover that will come in 6 fun colors, including white, black, blue, green, orange, or pink. From what we can tell the cases actually look pretty decent. The Bumper cases will have metal buttons over the volume and power keys. The case will provide a form fit, and is made from a combo of rubber and plastic. The Bumper cases are expected to retail for $29, however it is unclear if they will be available for the iPhone 4′s launch later this month.

During Apple’s announcement they also noted that they will be releasing a dock for the iPhone 4. It will be pretty the same as the current iPhone 3G/3GS docks now. It is expected to be priced around $30 as well.
