Apple to offer Free Bumper Cases to Solve Antenna Issue…

In case you missed it in the news today, Apple held a press conference, and let everyone know that the iPhone 4 isn’t the only smartphone to have “antenna issues”. Apple has admitted the new iPhone 4 is plagued with some sort of design flaw, which can cause loss of signal, when your iPhone a certain way without a case. Apple’s solution to solve this issue is to offer every single iPhone 4 customer (all three million + of them). Apple will be offering a free bumper case, and for those who have already purchased one – Apple will refund the $30.

Apple plans to offer one free bumper to anyone, anywhere in the world, and if they run out of bumpers they’ll offer up some other type of case. The offer is good until September 30, 2010 and might be extended if needed past then. You will be able to claim your free bumper case on Apple.com starting next week.
