Samsung unveils Galaxy S Accessories Lineup
Samsung’s Galaxy series has grown quite a bit this year, and now their latest smartphone, the Galaxy S is getting some accessory love. The Samsung Galaxy S will start seeing some hot new accessories like a desktop dock, which will allow you to use your Galaxy S while its charging from the dock. With this dock Samsung has released an app called “Desk Home” which is found in the Android Market. The Desk Home application will give you one touch access to popular device features like media, messages, weather, and alarm clock, when docked.
The Galaxy S is also getting a OEM car dock, which will hold you device, plus charge it via a microUSB connection. This vehicle dock has a suction cup to stick to the window and hold it in place. The Vehicle Dock is perfect for GPS directions or to use Google’s Voice Search app.
If your in need of more power for your Samsung Galaxy S, they are coming out with an external battery charger, which includes an extra battery. This is expected to be a pretty popular device for those who use it a lot. Other than that, Samsung plans to release several protective cases, in a wide variety of colors.
