Speck announces iGuy and PixelSkin HD Wrap for iPad 2

iPad 2 accessories are starting to hit the market in full force, but none are as cool as the iGuy from Speck products. The iGuy is a case and stand all-in-one for your new iPad 2. It will be available in the three colors (green, blue, or yellow) for $39.95 each. The iGuy is completely kid friendly and will stand and protect your iPad. Apple iPad 2 unveiled with New Accessories!

Apple took to the stage today to unveil the iPad 2, with dual core processors, dual cameras, and a ultra thin body at 8.8mm thin. The iPad 2 will be available in black and white colors, in both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models on March 12th in the USA, and March 25th in 26 other countries (including Canada and the UK). Now far the fun part… Apple unveiled a couple hot new accessories for the iPad 2, including the iPad Smart Cover, Digital AV adapter, and a new Dock for the iPad 2.

First off we will start off with Apple’s iPad Smart Cover. It’s a magnetic case that attaches to iPad 2. It also puts your iPad to sleep and wakes it up when covered, plus acts as a stand for your new iPad. The Smart Cover comes in two styles — Leather and Polyurethane. Both cases come in 5 colors each. Pricing will be $69 for the leather case, $39 for the Polyurethane case. You can read up on Apple’s new iPad Smart Covers on Apple.com.

The new iPad 2 Digital AV adapter will allow you to mirror your iPad’s display on a TV or projective easily. You can read up about mirroring the iPad 2 on Apple’s site.

The other great accessory Apple announced is the iPad 2 dock. It’s the same great dock, which allows you to sync and charge your iPad, plus has an AV out for speakers. No word on pricing yet, but we expect it to be about $39.

First Look: OtterBox Cases for BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

So the BlackBerry PlayBook is expected to arrive in the next couple of months, and accessory manufactures are working hard on accessories for the new tablet from BlackBerry. OtterBox recently joined on the Built for BlackBerry program, which allows accessory makers to develop cases and have them ready right at launch. OtterBox has a couple different cases expected for the BlackBerry PlayBook, including their popular Commuter and Defender Series cases. OtterBox cases will offer your BlackBerry PlayBook tons of protection, thanks to their multiple layers of protection. In the past we’ve looked and tested many different OtterBox cases, but none excite me as much as the ones for the PlayBook. So without further ado here is your first look at the OtterBox series of cases for the BlackBerry PlayBook…

Speck unveils Samsung Galaxy Tab & Galaxy Vibrant Cases

Earlier today Speck announced they have extended their lineup of Samsung accessories for the Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Vibrant smartphone. Speck’s new cases for the Galaxy series tablet include their popular CandyShell and Fitted fabric-wrapped cases. Both of those cases are expected to retail for $44.95 each. Also announced today was the fabric-wrapped case for the Samsung Galaxy Vibrant (i9000) available in Purple Argyle, TartanPlaid White and Darkest TartanPlaid Grey for $29.95 each.
